Join 'Networking Through Nature' and Nature Nell for a fascinating journey into the sounds of nature! As day breaks, connect with the natural world through sensory meditation and silent walking. Slow down, awaken your senses, and immerse yourself in the dawn chorus. Learn about the science of birdsong, discover the key elements that make each song unique, and develop skills to recognise common birds by sound. Networking Through Nature will guide you through mindful activities designed to deepen your connection with nature, before Nature Nell shares practical tips for identifying birdsong and appreciating nature's soundtrack wherever you go. Binoculars and expert guidance will be provided, giving you the opportunity to observe birds up close and connect their calls to their appearance, behaviour, and habitats. We treat nature as our temple and adhere to the ‘Leave No Trace’ principles. Dress for the season, wear comfortable waterproof walking shoes, and pack a waterproof layer along with plenty of water! The walk is generally most suitable for children aged 10+, but we welcome younger adventurers too. Please let us know if you are interested in joining with younger children. • Standard ticket: £20 This helps fund two people to join this or a similar adventure. • Concession ticket: £10 Select this option if you are over 65, or a student, or if the full price creates a barrier to attending. This helps us offer community rates to youth organisations to join this or a similar adventure. • Children 10-18y: £10 This helps fund two children to join this or a similar adventure. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. • Reserved tickets We believe everyone should have the opportunity to connect with nature. Free tickets are available for those who need them.
